The TRAFO Blog is a platform for scholars in the humanities and social sciences who are interested in transregional exchange and research on current issues. TRAFO is the blog of the Forum Transregionale Studien. It has been set up by the Forum in cooperation with the Max Weber Stiftung – Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland in the framework of a BMBF-funded project on transregional research. The Forum and the Max Weber Stiftung share the general editorial responsibilities. TRAFO works in an open framework of editorial partnerships with colleagues from the networks of the Forum and the Max Weber Stiftung. Series on the TRAFO Blog are curated by individual scholars or editorial groups who share editorial responsibilities.

Long-term editorial partnerships are established with transregional programs and networks, such as EUME, Prisma Ukraïna, re:constitution, and institutional initiatives such as CrossArea in Leipzig, the Merian Centre for Advanced Studies in the Maghreb (MECAM) in Tunis, and the research network project European Times (EUTIM).

Pupils Prepare Policy Briefs: Displacement Masterclass with Prisma Ukraїna

On Thursday, 29th of June 2023, the class 8b of the Walther-Rathenau-Gymnasium visited the Forum Transregionale Studien for a full-day workshop on the topic of displacement in the context of Russia’s War against Ukraine.
