Explorative workshops serve to identify and test new formats, themes and issues. They create a space for the “wild thought” of researchers. The Forum Transregionale Studien and the Max Weber Stiftung use explorative workshops to test the sustainability of research ideas and the fruitfulness of encounters between researchers from various regions and disciplines, and to develop new forms of cooperation with scholars from Africa, Asia and Latin America.
