6 Years of re:work
The International Research Centre “Work and Human Lifecycle in Global History” (“re:work”) at the Humboldt University Berlin organized the conference “Six Years of re:work“ at the end of its first funding period in Berlin from 4 to 6 June 2015. Themes and research fields of the research centre were presented and re-examined. Discussions particularly centered on notions of ‘labour’ and ‘non-labour’, ‘free’ and ‘non-free’ labour, work and life cycles, labour and migration, care work, and labour and capitalism from global and different regional, social, cultural, and historical perspectives.
